We Build What We Love
This idea of a store started with a hat. A weathered cap from the famed Yellowstone Club in Big Sky. It wasn’t just any hat, it had a story that we wanted to share through commerce. That same spirit runs through our agency. So we’re building a brand around it; this is but the beginning.
MTN Haus is an eCommerce development studio made up of team members with a blue-collar mentality towards their work. Several just happen to be climbers, trekkers, trail runners, and adventurers in their spare time. All of them are makers and builders in their own ways.. We’ve camped in the back country of Colorado, run trails through the Appalachian mountains, we’ve snowboarded Baldface, and successfully migrated enterprise brands from Magento. Each represents a challenge that we love.
We’re not just fluent in platform—Shopify, BigCommerce, headless frameworks—we’re fluent in the passion of retail. We built this store as a love letter to both Mountains and Merch.
Great commerce should feel like exploration. No two stores should look the same. No two brands should echo the same promise. Every project we take on is its own route—full of planning, pacing, and moments where you have to trust your gut.
Why We Do This
We love eCommerce because it’s a live sport. It’s iterative, brutal, and beautiful. Every CRO test is a step forward. Every product page is an open invitation to express values. And every cart conversion is a nod that the customer believes in your story.
We test relentlessly—not just because it improves KPIs, but because it honors the customer. We study new tech stacks the way climbers study route topo maps: methodically, with purpose. We don’t chase trends. We validate them. Then we integrate what works.
What We Believe
We believe that brands that take e-commerce seriously will outlast those that don’t. And not just "seriously" in the sense of operations or logistics, but in the expression, the storytelling, the craftsmanship of the digital experience.
This isn’t just a place to transact. It’s a chance to connect.
Why the Store Exists
We built this storefront not as a revenue stream but as a flag in the ground. This is how we think commerce should feel: tactile, story-rich, and worthy of belonging. The same way you might remember the first alpine jacket that felt like armor or the ski pin you still keep in your desk drawer—these objects mean something.
And so should your brand.
We want to work with founders and operators who share that respect for story, for strategy, and for the systems that bring them to life. If you’re here, it’s because something about that mix resonates. Your agency should love commerce, and their experience should more than theoretical. They should be beside you as you climb; telling you what to next expect. .
